Member is referring to the provision of funds to the British Egg Industry Council for the purpose of promoting the marketing of eggs out of the assets of the Egg Authority, which was abolished in 1986. When due provision has been made for the outstanding liabilities of the former authority it is expected that the remaining funds will be made available to the British Egg Industry Council for promotion and
