§ Mr. MacGregorThe total turnover of the Refreshment Department kiosk during November and December 1990 including VAT, was £109,786 and £213,318, respectively. Equivalent gross profits were £34,368 and £66,778, respectively. After the deduction of £5,261.53 for direct payroll costs during the two-month period, the net operating surplus for both months combined was £95,884.47.

§ Mr. MacGregorThe takings, or turnover, of the Refreshment Department souvenir kiosk during the four weeks to Christmas 1990 and for the previous 12 months to Christmas—including VAT—were £246,472 and £701,404, respectively.
