§ Mr. John PattenThe Government's proposals for the reform of charity law are set out in the White Paper8W "Charities: A framework for the Future" which was presented to Parliament on 16 May 1989. The Government hope to introduce legislation to give effect to these proposals within the lifetime of this Parliament.
