To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he will make a statement on his meetings with Scottish health authorities about beds for wounded service personnel.

As part of the contingency plans for provision of treatment for casualties from the Gulf, discussions have been held at official level with the NHS management executive for health in Scotland. Scottish facilities will be available as required.
