To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what action he is taking to implement the EC Council of Fisheries Ministers decision to have an eight consecutive days tie-up period in each month.

I expect implementing regulation to be laid before Parliament before the end of this month and to come into force on 1 February.
