To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food when he expects to announce his plans following his review of the veterinary investigations service; and if he will make a statement.

The review has been a very thorough one and its implications needed to be considered in detail. Those considerations are now in their final stages and I expect to be able to make an announcement shortly.
