§ Mr. MorganTo ask the Secretary of State for Energy (1) when he next expects to meet the chair of the East Midlands Electricity Consumer Committee to discuss the blizzard of 8 December 1990 and the number of supply interruptions and the rate of reconnections;
(2) when he next expects to meet the chairman of the East Midlands Electricity Company to discuss the impact of the 8 December 1990 blizzard and the response thereto.
§ Mr. Heathcoat-AmoryMy right hon. Friend has no plans to meet either at present. My Department monitored the situation throughout the restoration of supplies. The East Midlands Electricity Consumer Committee has not requested a meeting.
