§ Mr. Garel-JonesWe maintain regular high-level contacts with all parties involved in the intercommunal dispute, and actively support the United Nations Secretary-General's efforts to promote a comprehensive, just and lasting settlement.
§ 38. Mr. SquireTo ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will convene a conference of the guarantor powers to discuss the resolution of the Cyprus dispute.
§ Mr. Garel-JonesWe believe that the United Nations Secretary-General's mission of good offices offers the best hope of a comprehensive, just and lasting settlement of the intercommunal dispute in Cyprus. As part of our active support of United Nations efforts, we maintain continuous diplomatic contact with all parties to the dispute, including the fellow guarantor powers.
