§ Mr. Alan HowarthThe European Community has already approved the extension of the TEMPUS programme to the former German Democratic Republic and Czechoslovakia in academic year 1990–91, and in principle to Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia and Bulgaria in 1991–92. The Community would consider extensions to other central and eastern European countries if they requested it.
