§ Mr. MacGregorThe fourth report of the Services Committee of last Session (HC 614) states that, while access by Members to satellite and terrestrial television should be accepted in principle, no action should be taken to implement the introduction of that facility until the feasibility and cost of installing a broad-band telecommunications network for the Palace is known. The report calls for urgent communications to identify the type and capacity of cable required for the transmission of all forms of electronic data.
