To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many citizens of the United Kingdom are currently prohibited from free movement within the United Kingdom, apart from those held on remand or imprisoned.

Eighty-five British citizens are currently subject to orders made under the Prevention of Terrorism (Temporary Provisions) Act 1989, excluding them from the mainland of Great Britain or from Northern Ireland.
