§ Lord ReayHome Office Circular No. 77/90—Industrial Action in the Prison Service: Financial Aspects was issued in September 1990. it provides detailed guidance on the methods of calculating charges for holding prisoners. Having considered the Audit Commission report, we do not feel that any further guidance is necessary. A copy of the circular is being placed in the Library.
