§ Mr. Ieuan Wyn JonesTo ask the Secretary of State for Wales what were the figures per head for output generally and output in the manufacturing industry in Wales in 1989 and 1990; and what were the equivalent figures for each year from 1979 onwards.
§ Mr. David HuntEstimates of the gross domestic product per head of population in Wales are given in the table. Information for 1990 is not yet available. Manufacturing output figures, defined as gross value added per employee, were given by my right hon. Friend the Chief Secretary to the Treasury in response to the hon. Member for Caernarfon (Mr. Wigley) on 22 February 1991 equivalent figures for all industries are not available.
