§ Mr. Harry Greenway
To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what are his forecasts for the rate of inflation over the next 12 months; and if he will make a statement.

§ Mr. Simon Coombs
To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will make a statement on the prospects for inflation.

§ Mr. Maples
The autumn statement forecast is for a sharp fall in all-items RPI inflation to 5½ per cent. by the fourth quarter of this year. My right hon. Friend will publish a new forecast with the Budget.
