HC Deb 28 February 1991 vol 186 c609W
Mr. Morgan

To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security what discussions he has had with the trustee of the independent living fund regarding the withdrawal of independent living fund assistance from all those aged over 74 years; and what representations he has received regarding withdrawal of the scheme.

Mr. Scott

Many representations on the restriction of awards from the independent living fund (ILF) were received following the trustees' decision in June 1990 to give priority to those applicants aged between 16 and 74 who were also in receipt of higher rate attendance allowance.
