§ Mrs. ClwydTo ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs from which year's emergency budget the £2 million of non-food aid for Ethiopia, announced by the Minister for Overseas Development on 29 January,Official Report, column 463, and any other famine relief paid for in 1990–91 will be deducted.
§ Mrs. ChalkerFamine relief provided in the financial year 1990–91 is expected to be paid for from that year's emergency aid budget. As I told the House in reply to the hon. Lady's questions yesterday and on 29 January, the £2 million of non-food aid for Ethiopia is available in the current financial year.
