§ Mr. CousinsTo ask the Secretary of State for Social Security (1) what was the social fund budget for the Newcastle East, Newcastle West and Newcastle St. James offices of his Department in the financial years 1989–90, 1990–91 and 1991–92, in each case distinguishing between grants and loans; and what was the outturn expenditure for the same offices for 1989–90, distinguishing between grants and loans;
(2) what was the number of, and expenditure on (a) community care grants, (b) budgeting loans and (c) crisis loans in each successive quarter since April 1989 in each of the three offices serving Newcastle.
