Mr. McMaster

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will publish a table showing the amount of public expenditure on public sector housing, excluding Scottish Homes, its predecessor and housing associations, in Scotland in each year since 1979, and the contribution made by central Government.

The table sets out public expenditure (including expenditure funded by receipts) and the central Government contribution in respect of local authority and new towns housing since 1979–80:
