§ Mr. AllenTo ask the Prime Minister if he will list the expenditure items and cost of each item which his Government have undertaken on an extra-statutory basis since he became Prime Minister.
§ The Prime MinisterSpending by the Government is undertaken in accordance with arrangements which have been accepted by Parliament. The normal practice is to ensure that for continuing functions there is a specific statutory authority for the expenditure.
