Network SouthEast
- 48 coaches for south London suburban services out of Victoria and Charing Cross.
- 400 coaches for south London and north Kent inner suburban services out of Victoria/Charing Cross/ Cannon Street/St. Paul's to Sevenoaks/Orpington/ Hayes/Gillingham.
- 180 coaches for Marylebone-Aylesbury/Banbury and Paddington-Oxford.
- 69 coaches for Waterloo-Exeter line.
- 20 coaches for Waterloo-City line.
- Cambridge-King's Lynn electrification.
- Various infrastructure works such as platform extensions for the inner suburban Networker programme.
Freight
- 100 diesel locomotives.
- 700 container carrying wagons.
InterCity

- InterCity east coast main line electrification, 31 locomotives and 314 coaches.
Channel tunnel
- 30 high speed passenger trains.
- 30 electric freight locomotives.
- Waterloo terminal; Tonbridge-Redhill electrification; other track and signalling improvements.
Regional railways
- 334 diesel coaches for inter-urban express routes.
- 111 electric coaches for commuter services in Birmingham and Lancashire.
- Leeds-Bradford electrification including the commuter lines from Skipton and Ilkley to Leeds.
- Birmingham cross-city line electrification.
- Manchester airport link; new line to airport.
- Hooton-Chester electrification; extension of commuter services.
