§ The Prime MinisterWe are playing a full part in the United Nations study group set up to look at ways and means of promoting transparency in international transfers of conventional weapons, including the possibility of establishing a universal and nondiscriminatory United Nations register. It is hoped that a report will be made to the United Nations Secretary-General later this year.
