To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland how much organic milk is produced in Scotland; and what proportion is pasteurised.

No record is held centrally of the volume of milk described as organic, produced in Scotland; any milk sold to the public would require to be heat treated—pasteurised, sterilised, UHT—in accordance with the Milk (Special Designations) (Scotland) Order 1988.
