§ Mr. Douglas HoggThe first plenary meeting of the resumed CFE follow-on negotiations took place on 14 February. NATO and other delegations underlined the problems created for the follow-on negotiations by doubts over the Soviet Union's intention to comply with certain provisions of the CFE treaty. No new proposals were tabled.
