asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether consideration is being given to the construction of 1,500 foot high defence communications masts on the Welsh hills between Brecon and Sennybridge, and if so when a decision is likely to be taken.

The Ministry of Defence is considering a requirement for new communications facilities and the Sennybridge training area is under consideration as a possible site. However, no decisions have yet been taken.
