To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment when the holder of his office last attended a meeting of the royal commissioners for the exhibition of 1851.

Mr. Heseltine

No Secretary of State for the Environment has attended a meeting of the royal commissioners. The then Minister for Public Buildings and Works attended a meeting on 12 December 1962.
