§ Mr. ScottThe estimate of the cost of extending entitlement to the higher rate mobility component of the disability living allowance to those over 65 was produced by looking at the numbers of people identified by OPCS who were over the age of 65 and not already getting mobility allowance who would meet the current qualifying conditions for mobility allowance were the age limit to be removed.
