§ Mr. RedmondTo ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will make a statement as to the result of the discussions between his noble Friend Lord Ferrers and the chief constable of the West Midlands, other members of a police delegation and the Association of Metropolitan authorities, held on 18 December, to discuss their financial concerns about the effects of plans to cap the community charge in their areas.
