§ Mr. MoynihanMy officials have recently been approached by officials of the European Commission requesting permission to make public correspondence between the Commission and my Department on the United Kingdom wave energy programme, which makes clear my Department's support for the inclusion of wave energy within the Community's research programme. I have no objection to the publication of such correspondence by the Commission.
