To ask the Secretary of State for Transport on what date the Dartford bridge will be open for motor traffic; and if he will make a statement.

No date has been fixed for the opening of the new bridge between Dartford and Thurrock. Completion is on target for late summer.

§ Mr. Dunn
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport if he will make a statement on the name of the new bridge currently being constructed over the River Thames at Dartford.

No decision has been taken on a name for this new bridge.
