§ Mr. ChopeIn 1989, 6,193 children aged 5 to 11 were injured while travelling in a car which was involved in a road traffic accident. Of these, 27 were killed, 546 were injured and 5,620 were slightly injured. The number of uninjured persons travelling in vehicles involved in accidents is not available.
