§ Mr. Archie HamiltonAll regulars and reservists serving in the Gulf receive the same basic rates of pay. However, reservists are entitled to a taxable supplement of up to 20 per cent. of service pay (and more in special cases) to help make up any loss of civilian earnings up to a maximum total ceiling, including service pay, of £55,000.
