§ Mr. ChopeVehicle speed limits are already contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The speed limit for goods vehicles over 7.5 tonnes gross weight is 60 mph on motorways, 50 mph on dual carriageways and 40 mph on other roads, subject to any lower road speed limits.
