§ Mr. MacleanThe Department has received a number of representations, principally from staff representatives, about the restructuring of its regional administration organisation. It stands by its conclusion that the concentration of grant and subsidy work and other administrative functions at nine regional service centres will significantly improve the cost effectiveness of its operations, including the services it provides to its customers.
