To ask the Secretary of State for Health (1) if he will list by national health service region for each of the last five years(a) the number and (b) the names of national health service maternity hospitals which have been approved for closure by him;

(2) if he will list by national health service region for each of the last five years the hospitals which have been approved for closure by him and if he will list for each (a) the total number of beds involved and (b) the number of maternity beds involved.
