To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what arrangements have been made for FHSA provision within the Pembroke trust hospital area.

The establishment of the Pembrokeshire national health service trust does not affect the statutory responsibilities of the Dyfed family health services authority. However, both Pembrokeshire and East Dyfed DHAs, together with Dyfed FHSA, have indicated that they are examining how they can work more closely together to ensure that local health care needs can be met more responsively and effectively.
