§ Mr. Peter LloydThe European Commission is currently examining the gambling sector in the context of the single market, but has not so far produced any formal proposals. We are in touch with the Gaming Board about the progress of the Commission's study, and we would naturally seek the board's views if formal proposals requiring changes in the law are made in due course.
