Whether they have any plans to ask the Bank of England to reissue the current series of bank notes in better designed and more distinguishable denominations.
§ Lord Brabazon of TaraThe design of bank notes is the responsibility of the Bank of England. Bank notes need to incorporate an appropriate blend of security features and distinguishing characteristics, which the Bank believes is achieved with the new notes. It will, however, take account of the reactions to the notes already issued in designing future issues.
