§ The Attorney-GeneralThe use and possession of paintball guns are not covered by any specific legislation, but may contravene a number of enactments depending on the characteristics of the item and the circumstances and purpose of the possession. The CPS does not maintain records which in respect of any category of offence enables those involving paintball guns to be identified from those which do not.
