§ Miss WiddecombeThe "Algebra" group comprises officials from several central Government Departments and representatives of local authority associations. Its discussions are part of the process of implementing the Government's community care reforms as set out in the White Paper "Caring for People". Meetings are held at official level only; Ministers do not attend. I understand the next meeting will take place on 12 December.
