§ Mr. McGradyTo ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what additional expenditure has been made available to the Northern Ireland Exchequer in order that the Police Authority can pay for the 441 new RUC recuits.
§ Dr. MawhinneyTotal public expenditure in Northern Ireland will increase by £576 million in 1992–93 compared to 1991–92; £44 million of this increase is being allocated to the police authority to meet a number of requirements including the resources needed to begin recruitment of the extra 441 officers.
