To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer when he next expects to meet his EC counterparts to discuss currency matters.

[holding answer 28 November 1991]: My right hon. Friend will be attending the European Council which meets in Maastricht on 9 December. There are no plans for this meeting to discuss current exchange rates.
