§ Mr. Nicholas BennettThe Welsh Office completed a review of secure care in Wales, the final report on which was published on 14 August 1991 and a copy of which was sent to the hon. Gentleman at that time.
One of the recommendations of the review is for a new secure unit to be provided in Wales.
The report was published for consultation with a closing date of 8 November 1991 and the many representations received are currently being considered.
§ Mr. MichaelTo ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will list the units providing secure accommodation for young people from Wales and show how many young people from Wales were in each of the secure units in each month of 1989, 1990 and the current year.
