Whether they will now consider removing the restrictions on ERDF support for the revenue expenditure of public and other bodies on such matters as tourism promotion, feasibility studies and help for the development of small firms.

There are no absolute restrictions or exclusions of the type mentioned. Indeed, a number of projects of these kinds are receiving ERDF grant. However, in the selection of suitable projects, for the limited assistance available, the Government attaches importance to maximising value for money.
