To ask the Minister for the Arts how many disabled people are currently employed in his Department; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Renton

One member of staff in my Department is registered as disabled, but there may be others who have chosen not to register.

The Office of Arts and Libraries is committed to the implementation of the code of practice on the employment of people with disabilities in the civil service.
