HC Deb 02 December 1991 vol 200 c44W
Mr. Marlow

To ask the Secretary of State for Energy what proportion of North sea oil lies(a) north and (b) south of a line drawn in an extension of the general direction of the border between England and Scotland.

Mr. Moynihan

No such calculations are made by my Department. Estimates of oil reserves remaining on the United Kingdom continental shelf as a whole were published in the latest report of April this year on the "Development of the Oil and Gas Resources of the United Kingdom", also known as the "Brown Book", which is available in the Library of the House.
