§ Mr. CurryThe Prime Minister launched the Government's initiatives at a seminar on food marketing which he chaired in November. We are introducing a new group marketing grant to encourage the development of producer groups with real commercial expertise. We have set up in the Ministry a market task force to stimulate interest and action by producers. It will be working with major buyers in the retail, catering and processing sectors to identify broad production opportunities for farmers and growers. Meanwhile, we shall continue to ensure that the burdens on industry are kept to reasonable levels. These and other initiatives are explained in the policy statement "Our Farming Future", which was also published in November.
