§ Mr. RedwoodThe Director General of Fair Trading is currently conducting a review of a number of issues concerning the distribution of newspapers and periodicals. The director general will decide in the light of this review126W whether further action under the competition legislation for which he is responsible is required. It would not be appropriate for me to comment in advance of the completion of the director general's review.
