HC Deb 30 April 1991 vol 190 cc132-3W
Mr. Brandon-Bravo

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what protection is intended for communities living near, or en route to, power stations in the east midlands who will be adversley effected by coal lorry traffic resulting from the use of the new port development at Immingham.

Mr. Baldry

I am advised that the Secretary of State for Transport has no proposals to improve the trunk road network or to carry out other measures as a consequence of the Immingham lorry traffic. However, he intends to keep the situation under review.
