Mr. Mullin

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will list the gross income of(a) a police constable, (b) a sergeant, (c) an inspector, (d) a chief inspector, (e) a superintendent and (f) a chief superintendent in a provincial force in (i) 1979 and (ii) 1990.
