3 The calculation of import/export proportion ratios is not appropriate for class 21 (extraction and preparation of metalliferous ores). However, it is not possible to separate estimates of employees in employment in this class from those in classes 22 and 23, both of which have import penetration or export proportion ratios of over 20 per cent.
